Build Yourself a Birthday Party

Don't get too stressed out - it's just another Birthday!

This stylized silent film is about how easy it can be to worry that things will go wrong - especially when planning a party! It takes inspiration from the 80's children's shows that delighted and sometimes terrified us as kids.

This film debuted at the Minnesota Science Museum, where it was accompanied by a live orchestra performing the score.  It was then selected by the DIAMETRALE Experimental Film festival in Austria to screen before the absurdist masterpiece Greener Grass.
