“Like it Matters” marks my first music video with frequent collaborator, Carrellee. Together with cinematographer Ben Enke, my goal was to visualize the song’s lost and melancholic themes using light, prisms, filters, water, and fog—employing inventive in-camera effects that transform each shot into something dreamlike and evocative.
